About Us

Davidson Elementary School is proud to offer a variety of programs and activities for all students. There is a focus on high expectations for academic success that is reflected in all we do. Our pre-school program prepares children for success in kindergarten. Programs that are offered for k-6 students are: Accelerated Reader, Writing Boot Camp for third and fourth grade, a Learning Center, READ 180, and System 44 for support in reading skills. Daily Positive Behavior Support Lessons help build social skills. Our Enrichment Program allows additional learning through technology, music, art, and a science lab. Students can participate in CAPS, which provides a variety of activities, including homework help and sports. Parent involvement is a top priority. Parents are encouraged to attend School Site Council, English Language Advisory Committee, and African American Parent Advisory Council meetings.
